Abstract

The commonplace book of Hannah Logan Fisher includes Quaker testimonies, extracts of letters, hymns, and religious poems. Notes on the inside covers of the volume describe that Fisher gave the volume to Rebecca Byrd Young in 1796, upon Young's departure for America from England.

Abstract This collection is comprised of the single volume letterbook of the Hoskins family. The primary correspondents in the volume are members of the Hoskins family, though quite a number of the letters are directed to Benjamin H. Warder. Most of the letters were written in the 18th century, but some are from the 19th century.
