Scope and Contents

In December 2001, the Peace and Social Concerns Committee of London Grove Friends Meeting felt called to begin a Peace Vigil in Kennett Square. The Vigil continued through at least 2016, and in 2011 Gail Newbold, Barbara Walker, and David Williamson began collecting oral histories of participants in the Vigil over the prior decade.

"A Decade of Friendly Persuasion: Celebrating Ten Years of Peace Vigils in Kennett Square" is the result, with transcripts of twelve participants. A CD was removed to the FHL A/V collection in 2017.
