Correspondence, 1960's, 1960-1969

Includes a wide range of correspondence between members of the Friends Medical Society and other groups/individuals. Dr. James Huston Westover, Dr. J. Russell Elkinton, and Dr. Joseph Stokes Jr. are very frequent writers. In addition to the correspondence itself, this folders includes the phamphlets and attached documents referenced in some of the correspondence. Primary subjects include projects of the Friends Medical Society, requests for advice from the membership of the Society, communication re: conferences, and a rekindling of the Society in 1966, after a lull in activity. A history of the Society, titled "Friends Medical Society - 1967" and written by Dr. J. Russell Elkinton, and a set of newsletters from 1960 are also included.
