Scope and Contents
Info Projects 79-147 to 79-169. The Haverford-Bryn Mawr Quaker Activities Committee (QUAC) to sponsor a day of fasting for Cambodia (79-151). HC cross-country team places 16th in the NCAA (79-152). Richard J. Bernstein named T. Wistar Brown Professor of Philosophy at HC (79-153). A collection of old and unusual bibles to be put on display in an exhibit in the fall semester of 1979 (79-155). A group of students, the self-proclaimed "Haverford Rescue Committee", appeal to the parents of HC students to order "rescue kits" of snacks and care gifts to help students through exam season (79-159). A "phonathon" to occur to help raise donor participation for HC (79-160). Feature on Confucian studies, a year-long seminar fourteen students at HC participate in that immerses themselves in the topic (79-165). Louis Round Wilson, Haverford's oldest alumnus, of the class of 1899, dies at age 102 (79-166).
