Info Projects 84-51 to 84-75, also 84-S-128. Joanne Mitchell, as assistant director of admissions at Drew University since 1980, appointed associate director of admissions at HC (84-54). Norman G. Ricker Jr. appointed director of Haverford's physical plant (84-55). Jerome Williams, assistant professor of Spanish at HC, chosen to receive a Research Fellowship from the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University (84-57). George E. (Skip) Lawrence appointed director of development, Marilyn Rothberg appointed director of annual giving, and Carolyn K. Tolles appointed director of foundation and corporate support at HC (84-59a). Former Washington state Governor and chair of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission to speak on nuclear energy at HC (84-61). G. Richard Wynn named HC's new vice president for finance and administration as of January 1985 (84-63). No 84-64. The Vienna Art Orchestra to perform at HC (84-65). The Haverford Sesquicentennial Program raised $22.2 million dollars by its conclusion in June of 1984 (84-67). No 84-69. HC featured on local television programs in October of 1984, including WKYW's Check it Out" and a WPVI Public affairs program (84-71). HC to sponsor a debate between high-level representatives of four of the major Nicaraguan political parties (84-72). HC receives the W. W. Smith Charitable Trust, with a grant of $35,000 to help the college maintain its present financial policy (84-75).
