The letters in this file were addressed to Morris by the following merchants and mercantile firms in Boston, Massachusetts: Nathaniel Clough (plaster), Gardiner L. Chandler (benefits of joint accounts, nankeen, tea), Munson & Barnard (commodity prices in Boston), O. Sherman (fustic), Stanton & Spelman (commodity prices in Boston), William Coffin (deposition related to detention of his ship in Canton, China), Jacob Cram (passing a treasury note to Morris's credit), and A.F. Howe & Co.
