Scope and Contents
Bridgewater Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) changed its name to Verona Monthly Meeting in 5th month, 1840.
This minute book includes the Pre-Separation minutes of Westmoreland Preparative Meeting from its establishment in 1826 through the Separation in 1828. Westmoreland PM continued as an Orthodox body, although this minute book evidently remained in the custody of a Hicksite member and was resumed in 1839 for the monthly meeting minutes of Bridgewater (Hicksite).
