Scope and Contents
This file contains a letter from Norwood Penrose in Burlington, New Jersey, to Luke W. Morris. Penrose asks Morris to send him shirts and notes that "There has been several robberies commited here since I was down and there has been several coloured persons suspected and they are strangers too there has been a great number of blacks coming here every day and the people do not like it, they come one or two together."
