Scope and Contents
All of letters in this file were addressed to Morris by George Haywood of Mount Holly, New Jersey. Haywood asked about the price of pickled salmon and New England rum in Philadelphia and in an October 23, 1816, letter noted that he had been compelled to apply for an extension of credit from his Philadelphia creditors.
