Scope and Contents
Includes correspondence, memorandum, and the occaisional newspaper clipping between various parties of the Licensed Agencies for Relief in Asia (LARA). Gilbert Bowles, members of the American Friends Service Committee's Committee on Japan, and other organizations involved with relief efforts in Asia (primarily in Japan) are the main creators. Most of the correspondence deals with the logistical organizing of clothing and food relief for Japanese people post-World War II.
