Scope and Contents

This file contains bills and receipts belonging to Luke W. Morris. It includes accounts with Stephen M. Day for tuition and school supplies for his son Samuel B. Morris; payment to Hannah Clement for boarding Samuel; accounts with Samuel Wilkins for a quarter of schooling, ink, and quills for an unidentifed individual; payment to Jeremiah Elfreth for a bedstead; payment to Mary Jones for weaving; an agreement between Morris and Thomas Owen for Owen to work on Morris's farm; an agreement between Morris and James Kay binding Kay to work off a debt owed to Morris; and a paid bill from Samuel Brick for "making a walnut coffin for thy child" (paid August 23, 1805).
