Visitation Index Cards (L-S) (Active), 1942-1945
Scope and Contents
This folder includes index cards used to record visits made by Gilbert Bowles and others to assess Japanese need for relief in Hawaii. Most of the cards have demographic information filled out on the front with description of the circumstances found during the visit on the back. Some of these visits were made to ask if the individual knew of others in need, and some contacts were to assess the need for relief of the person or family being visited. These cards were marked as active prior to accession.
