Haverford College football and Football Association, 1891-1969

This folder holds many various items. The first set of items are tickets to various Haverford football games. There are four of them, one for an unspecified game that took place in 1894, one for Lafayette vs. Haverford in 1891, one for Swarthmore vs. Haverford in 1915, and one for a different for Haverford vs. Swathmore in 1941. Another set of items are schedules for the 1897 spring and fall season, the 1899 fall season, the 1911 fall season, and the 1912 spring season. Another set of items are programs for various games: Swathmore vs Haverford in 1903, 1914, 1921, 1924, 1925, 1950, and 1969; Haverford vs. Earlham in 1933; Johns Hopkins vs. Haverford in 1937; and Haverford vs. Wesleyan in 1940. Another set are programs for 2 events sponsored by Haverford's Alumni Football Association titled simply "Entertainment." One event took place in 1893 and the other one in 1895. The rest of the items are individual. One item is a blank copy of a ticket invoice that someone would send to Haverford with a check or money order inside in it to order tickets to football games. It also has an envelope attached to it. Another item is an invitation to a Haverford vs. Swathmore football game in 1897. There are also two tickets to a football dance in 1920. Finally, there is a copy of The Philadelphia Press's Sports Press. This issue is from November 1903. It reports on different contests from different schools. This newspaper is very fragile.
