3 folders (In 1972 Haverford eliminated intercollegiate football. This file contains minutes, memoranda and letters on whether or not to reinstate intercollegiate football. The early minutes of the Athletic Advisory Council report on concern enforcement of the Physical Education requirement. In March 1974 it began to focus its discussions on bringing football back to Haverford. In November it made a report (not in file) in favor of the football program. Letters from students, the majority agreeing with the report, and some faculty and alumni are in the file. Coleman decided to not accept the Council recommendation.)
