Scope and Contents
Newbold family home. Labeled by Elizabeth Newbold Fox or her daughter. Carte-de-visite of Charles Pemberton Fox, "The elder of Champlost." Son of George Fox and Mary Pemberton Fox who preserved Benjamin Franklin's papers. The Foxes donated most of the papers to the American Philosophical Society in 1840.
