Includes correspondence, newsletters, and other documents related to the establishment and support of a hospital in Amazonian Peru, founded by Dr. Theodor(e) Binder. The correspondence mainly consists of members of the Society discussing the hospital and planning to meet with Binder during a visit back to the United States. Also includes numerous photocopies of a New York Times article, dated November 23, 1959, on the subject of the hospital
