Scope and Contents
This folder consists of correspondence between James Vail, part of the American Friends Service Committee in Philadelphia, and William Morris Mair, Executive Secretary of the Hawaii Branch of the AFSC. The two men correspond about the projects of the Hawaii Branch and their work around the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans by the U.S. government. Mary Hoxie Jones and Gilbert Bowles are also occaisional correspondents.
