Scope and Contents
This file contains an assortment of Luke W. Morris's business papers, most of which are undated. There is a document outlining the distribution of the stock in trade belonging to Luke W. Morris and Isaac W. Morris, possibly related to the dissolution of their brewing business. The file also includes Morris's accounts with Hugh Sharp for the construction of two frame houses and a stable, an account of an accident during the raising of the stable resulting in the death of William Andrews, information on ground rents in Philadelphia, a portion of a poem, a small handwritten booklet in French, and miscellaneous bills and accounts belonging to Morris.
