Scope and Contents
Includes papers re land and miscellaneous accounts. One document describes John Ladd as the manager of Col. John Alford's land affairs (whereas Edward Shippen Jr. was an executor of Alford's estate). Most of the documents re: land appear to be around the negotiation of who would buy the land of Col. Alford after his death.
