Scope and Contents
Susanna Smedley (1875-1970) , daughter of Edward G. Smedley and Elizabeth Sharples Smedley, was a cousin of Walter Smedley and worked as a bookkeeper at Westtown School. Her album contains photos of her summer travels in New England and Washington, D.C. Travel down the Delaware and Chesapeake Canal in 1901, visited Comley Friends Meetings and local Friends in Virginia. Subsequently Niagara Falls and Pocono Manor Inn. 1902 Maine, Pocono Manor in 1903, etc. Adults camping in Westtown Wood, tennis and picnicking. Avalon, NJ. Broomall Lake in Media. Tunesassa Indian School building and students
