Fisher (1865-1956), second youngest of the nine children and a small child when the family lived in Argentina, explained that since the family lived remotely, they took great interest in family stories that were handed down. She was a writer and editor, the only daughter who did not marry. She moved with her father and two sisters moved to Pennsylvania in 1898.
