Scope and Contents
Originally established in Philadelphia in 1882 for orphaned daughters of soldiers, firemen, and other civil servants. In 1895, the Institute moved its home to the Langhorne Manor Hotel, but returned to Philadelphia in 1911. Programs for the closing exercises and invitation to Anna Simpson and her parents for 1905 closing exercises.
