Scope and Contents
Info Projects: 72-29 to 72-43. Haverford College has received gifts totalling $1.5 million to create two new endowed professional chairs, in memory of Mrs. Ruth Marshall Magill and William R. Kenan, Jr., respectively (72-31). James Sims, the agent at the Penn Central's Haverford station, is due to retire May 31, 1972, and President Coleman and other faculty members will walk to the station with coffee and refreshments to thank him for his service to the College (72-33). Bertrand F. Bell III named Director of Alumni Relations at HC (72-36). Founders Bell 24 August 1972 (72-41). Coleman, along with Presidents of various Pennsylvania colleges and universities, send a statement to the Soviet Union concerning their policy to require Jewish people seeking emigration to Israel to make significant payments (72-42).
