Scope and Contents
Benjamin Chew's opinion regarding Malin property which was conveyed by Ann Alibbone, Widow of Joseph Allibone, to John Bowater in 1685. He conveyed 100 acres to Randall Malin in 1688/89. Alibbon heirs made a claim for property, but Chew opined that Malin had settled land in good faith and Allibone heirs had no claim to property. Undated manuscript testimony by witness to purchase. Decision by Providence Preparative Meeting against Allibone heirs
