This folder contains letters from June 23, 1800 to May 1, 1846 written and sent by George Wood Bacon to his family and other individuals. Includes discussions of his interest in the Native American customs he has observed, his hatred of slavery, and discussion of Joseph Smith and the Mormans. Written from Indiana and Illinois.
