Biographical / Historical

These photographs were taken by CMCM in her work in Germany in the 1920s with the American Friends Service Committee. The AFSC worked to relieve the suffering of the German people after their defeat in World War I, primarily by feeding children and pregnant mothers. These photographs cover all aspects of that program.
