CCFA (College Committee on Faculty Appointments), 1977-1980/81
Scope and Contents
Meeting minutes and memoranda concerning improvements to increasing diversity in faculty appointments, in addition to its ongoing monitoring of minority faculty appointments. Final report recommends discharge of CCFA and formation of new Committee on Diversity for 5 years to provide support for Ad Hoc Committees to help the Faculty to achieve its objective of diversity and make yearly reports and that all searches be open affirmative action searches.

Biographical / Historical
Committee on Faculty Appointments was established in 1976/77 year charged with increasing the presence of minority faculty and with making recommendations on improving the quality of life for minority faculty already on campus—increasing minority presence to 8 to 10 full-time equivalents at all levels prior to 1982.
