Scope and Contents
Formed in response to enrollment problems to make recommendations especially with respect to the admission of women includes: Bryn Mawr Trustees’ Statement to the Haverford Board of Managers, with proposals for cooperation without Haverford going co-ed.; “Kosman” report of the Committee that studied all alternatives and recommended admission of women; faculty decision in favor of admitting women with Bryn Mawr cooperation at a high level; Board approval of admission of women through transfers, not freshman admission; faculty reaction to Board decision.
