Biographical / Historical
Customs is The First year Experience program that includes a mandatory five-day orientation immediately preceding the fall semester. It is designed to introduce all first-year students to college life at Haverford and includes several activities: get to know your Customs group; meet with your academic advisor; attend talks lead by various students, faculty, staff, and administrators that will orient you to the services and resources offered on-campus; and, become familiar with the system of student self-governance and the academic and social honor code.
