John Greenleaf Whittier to G.W.Taylor 2.0 Items
1890 and no date.
Glad to hear from Taylor, one of his few remaining friends from
his time in Philadelphia. Is pained by the state of the Society of Friends in various
parts of the country, some having totally abandoned Friends' principles and practices.
Has nothing worthy of a place in Friends Review and sends money for subscriptions
to same for 6 people, including himself, and hopes it will be clear of controversy.
