Allen 'Al' Clayton and Donald 'Don' Gilbert both write with regard to John Davison's "Short Communion Service" being performed at the Church of the Advent in Boston, MA. Thurston Dart, who taught JD while he was in England, writes regarding JD's interest in the music of Orlando Gibbons, and sends a draft of a book he is writing. The rest of the letters are casual correspondence with friends and family, including Walter Davison, Edward 'Ted' Handy, Jean Lunn, Margaret Massey-Stewart, and Louise Erickson, who sends a pine sprig. William 'Bill' Reese writes from Germany about his travels, and to make sure that a few messages get passed along.
