The majority of these letters may be described as performance-related or casual correspondence. Charles Parker of the Davidsbund Trio, Wesley Day, David Fetter, Lionel Lackey, Robert Naughton, Mrenda Born, manager for the New Hampshire Music Festival, Yumi Ninomiya for the Curtis String Quartet, and Joseph Poell of Villanova University all write about performing John Davison's compositions. Ruth Hollet writes, and also includes newspaper clippings and a personal biography. David Nicholson, a former student and Haverford College class of 1972, writes with news of his readmission into Haverford College and about finding his passion.
