To Davison, 1978
Scope and Contents
c.105 items
In addition to the casual correspondence in this year are many letters pertaining to musical performances. David Belsky writes a thank you note for a concert in verse. John Davison compiled for himself all of the letters he received following a performance of his Mass in April, and this file was kept together. Looking forward to future performances, Andrew Bolotowsky requests that JD write a short, humorous piece for piccolo. More personally, Joy Dibble writes to ask John and Elizabeth Davison if they would be her godparents. Frequent casual correspondents are Gordon Adams, Guy Davenport, Giorgio Gaggia, Philip Greene, Gaynelle Irving, Jonathan Lutz, and Susan Shields.
