Much of the correspondence in this year concerns music and musicians. In particular, Haverford College alumnus Seth Alpen (class of 1973), Michael Caplan (class of 1973), Dardis McNamee, Robert Sataloff, and Ronald Swaab (class of 1973) write to ask about Harold Boatrite, a member of the Haverford College Music Department faculty. Louis Weil, from Nashotah House, writes about performing John Davison's Nashotah Mass. Curtis Cooke, for the Haverford Christian Fellowship, sends a thank you note for JD's talk about music in worship. Robert B. Stevens, President of Haverford College, sends a statement granting JD a sabbatical for the 1979-1980 school year. Friends and family also send casual letters.
