Much of this correspondence in this year surrounds certain important events: A concert by Shoshana Shay showcasing John Davison's and John Ashmead's compositions in conjunction with their project about the poetry of Robert Burns, the death of Kenneth Leighton, and the births of Julian Daedalus Swan to Alexis Swan, and of Gregory Nicholas Baboukis to John and Jody Baboukis. Others write about performing JD's other compositions, and long-time correspondents such as Noel Waterman continue to write as well.
