The letters in this file were not able to be given specific dates, but were all most likely written during the 1980s. The majority are casual letters from friends and acquaintances, though some also write regarding performances of John Davison's work that they gave or attended. Notably, Robert Stiefel sends an invitation to his ordination into the Catholic priesthood. Paul Gunther sends an announcement of the birth of his daughter, Nikolina Linnea Gunther. Three students write an anonymous apology for "tasteless comments" written on the blackboard and door of John Davison's classroom.
