Letters and memoranda of three provosts not directly related to official duties including: Hank Payne, 1985-1987, letters of recommendation for teaching or academic administrative positions and correspondence concerning his article submissions; Sidney, 1987/1988 Waldman letters of recommendation for students; Bruce Partridge, 1990-1995, letters and memoranda, usually brief, to colleagues, alumni, and students on a wide variety of subjects.
