Almost all letters to Charles S. Taylor and family, in Colorado,
A. giving news of home and friends. Mentions of the founding of Bryn Mawr, very scarce and indirect. Letters of 10mo. 15-26, 1879, tell of his angina pectoris
B. Letter of 11mo. 4, 1878, suggests that Chas. W. T. collect birds and minerals of Colo., as basis for a Museum for Bryn Mawr College.
C. Letter of 11mo. 16, 1879, says he is busy at Bryn Mawr, getting ready for building in the spring.
D. Letter of 1mo. 6, 1880, speaks of continued progress at Bryn Mawr. (He died Jan. 18, 1880)]
