Description
Book of 5 poems by Daryl Hine and 6 burin engravings by Virgil Burnett of stately male figures. Engravings are detailed drawings with lively contour lines. Maroon lines against a beige, sunken area of the handmade paper. Each drawing contains Burnett's insignia. Limited edition, hand-printed book on fine paper. Dedicated to Maurice Darantière, a printer of fine books who encouraged Burnett to pursue the book arts.
