Includes: -1972 protest of Black Students' League, Puerto Rican Students at Haverford; boycott of non-class and non-job activities (clubs, student govt., athletics) -1976, Spring students' Minority Coalition (including Asian Student Group, Social Action Caucus, Students' Council) formed — through Fall -- concerns, demands, administration/EPC responses -1977 Spring—issue again heats up, with promises from Board of Managers to monitor progress, student demonstrations, College Committee on Faculty Appointments est.; 6/77 "Draft, Evaluating Institutional Commitment to Minorities at Haverford College; fall Office of Minority Affairs established, summer-fall, administrative hiring, including presidential Search -1978, Apr. memo: "…circuitous arguments, renewed each year at the urgings of the minority students, but progressing nowhere—covering the same, restructured, rephrased opinions that last until mid-April a few weeks shy of final examinations."
