[attends Yearly Meeting where Stephen Grellet and William Foster were in attendance; has no favorable opinion of Negroes or the Southern States (4/11/1821); health issues relating to family, friends, acquaintances; daily life, including family visits; longing to see her]. Stokes addresses Smith as his sister, but she becomes his wife in 1823.
