Includes correspondence with overseers, faculty and others; Inspectors' reports 1899 and 1907; discussions of Edward Bettle Jr. 1903-1908; plans for moving the school out of the city; headmasters' notices to staff 1875-1917. Arranged chronologically by year and alphabetically by names within each year. Letters from teachers and headmaster to the board of overseers are filed under "Overseer's business papers".
