Scope and Contents
This collection contains one half of a daily diary from 1883 written by an unknown author, likely somewhere on the East Coast of the United States. Entries span from January 1, 1883, to June 11, 1883, and record the weather, the author's movements, details about the lives of the author's family, and current events. Also included within the diary are a page tracking the migration patterns of local birds and a loose recepit.
