America Album
Scope and Contents
This single volume contains 65 photographs and 23 pressed plant samples from across the United States. The main focus of the photographs are tourist sites, including Niagara Falls, the Palisades, Yosemite Valley, and Chimney Rock, but there are some photos of various parts of the cities across the country. The cities include Boston, Montreal, Chicago, Salt Lake City, and Philadelphia. All but two photographs and all but one pressed plant have been labelled with hand-written descriptions. Most of the photographs are approximately 3x3 in, but about a third of the photographs are larger (either 3x6 in or 6x8 in).
