Biographical / Historical
John Hoag Dillingham was a professor, librarian and superintendent at Haverford College between 1865 and 1878. He taught Moral and Political Science. In addition to teaching at Haverford, he also taught at Friends Select School in Philadelphia and edited The Friend, a denominational newspaper of Society of Friends. He is best known for his 1891 publication of "The Society of Friends in Barnstable County, Massachusetts."
