Biographical / Historical

The C. Christopher Morris Cricket Library Association is the largest collection of cricket literature and memorabilia in the United States. It includes over a thousand volumes and other printed and photographic materials relating to the history of cricket. The primary goal of the association is to preserve American cricket in all forms, which now includes digitizing its records and preserving video recordings of cricket matches of interest.

The association originates in 1964. It was founded by John Lester on the occassion of the 100th anniversary of the first Haverford-University of Pennsylvania match. The library is headquartered at Haverford College and is named after C. Christopher Morris, a Haverford College alumnus and also an exceptionally talented cricket player.
