Many of the materials in this collection were created or donated by William (Bill) G. Kaye (1933-2023), Class of 1954. Following his graduation from Haverford, Kaye attended Harvard Business School. He joined the Lyndon B. Johnson administration in 1963, working first for the Department of Commerce and then for the Executive Office of the President. Following Johnson's departure from office, Kaye moved to the Congressional Research Service of the Library of Congress, where he worked for 23 years prior to retirement. He served as his Class Agent at Haverford for more than six decades. As President of Haverford's Executive Committee, he oversaw a restructuring of the Development Office and the creation of Haverford Magazine. Haverford created an annual award in his name to honor exemplary service in student career development.
