Joel Cadbury letter
Scope and Contents
This collection contains one letter written by Joel Cadbury, addressed to his brother. Cadbury discusses his plan to avoid sickness while sledding during the winter months. He also tells his brother about an incident in which a student cut a hole in the water pipe of a hot water tank. Because no report was filed about the incident, all students had to attend a long meeting to discuss the problem. The issue was solved using a grand jury. The letter includes text written in a cipher.
