Biographical Note
David Holder Nichols was born in East Vassalboro, Maine, on July 21st, 1842. Nichols entered Haverford College in the class of 1862 and graduated in 1865. While at Haverford, he was the president of the Everett Society and editor of The Bud. After his time at Haverford, Nichols entered Harvard University, but died the same year.
