Biographical / Historical
James Robert Frorer (1893-1983) was born at Cooperstown, Pennsylvania to Henry Frorer Jr. and Susan Lynch Frorer. Frorer became Quaker in high school. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a bachelor's degree in 1915. He married Isabella Johnston on October 15, 1918. Frorer primarly worked for the Atlas Powder Company, and became vice president in 1951. He volunteered with many Friends organizations including Friends Journal and Friends Historical Association.
